Asparagus + Bacon = Win!

Preheat oven to 400F
Soak a bunch of asparagus (20-25) in water for 15 mins
Wrap bacon around 5 stalks of asparagus
Put bundles on a broiler pan and pepper bundles.
cook for 20 mins, flipping bundles halfway through.

east and enjoy.


I just ate 4 bundles. omg. its goooood.

I've seen that before but never tried it. Now that it has a stamp of approval I may give it a shot.

I used hickory smoked bacon. I thought a sweet bacon would make the asparagus too sweet. I wanna give it a go on the grill next time.

that sounds quite good! four bundles is a lot though.

I'll give that a shot in the oven first and see how it turns out. I'm not sure how it would come out on the grill unless the asparagus were prepared first. Bacon and I have a love/hate relationship when it comes to grilling.

I've actually done some up on the grill with nothing more than olive oil, salt and pepper on it....... so easy yet so tasty.

yeah, i've made that before, it's great. the saltiness of the bacon goes really well with the asparagus.
