oh, and what's up with all this algebra in college? i've never heard of a course in algebra at any college in Canada, but here it seems to be standard.
and just because i wanna say this but don't want to make a blog thread, i'm happy to announce that i'm dating a new chick who is super hot and cool
wow, totally missed the terrible weakness of my adjectives. thanks. How can she be hot AND cool at the same time? Wouldn't she just turn into water at that point?
everytime to see the name thrawn I think of the Alien commander of the Empire's Forces in Starwars. The mathematician, Thrawn.
I was supposed to take that test a few classes back. whoops.
wow, totally missed the terrible weakness of my adjectives. thanks.
Sarcasmo: Shit dog, you need math tutoring? I'm right around the corner. Let me know.
sounds like a math homo dream date."Yo Jonny, you busy? I thought we could go grab drinks somewhere and maybe discuss quadratics and shit."
I doubt I'll need tutoring. (*fingers crossed*). I honestly never had a problem with algebra in high school. In fact I got an A I think. I just thought it was funny that I went into the test with no concern whatsoever and left having to enroll in basic math. D'oh!
450 math on the SAT seven years ago, woooo. I hate math and it hates me. I failed trig at college and didn't bother to take it again. Switched my major so I didn't need anything more than College Algebra. One either gets Math or doesn't. I'm in the doesn't get math group.
I read this question that was something like "Simplify (2x-y)3cz^4 + 42y^2 (17czy^3) - -57^xy". All I could think of was peeling the shirt off this ridiculously hot 18 year old chick sitting across from me.
that equation is probably simplified enough aside from them two negatives at the end make a positive.
i'm the exact opposite. while i was ok with weird pure math, i always preferred stats and game theory.I picked up a minor in mathematics in college, got up to calculus 4, Graph and Number Theory (ouch) - shit just came natural to me
edit: was always into the pure mathematics - not much of an applied math guy, the stuff bored me
