GAY The Useless Travel Thread

Where do they sit?

At the feet of the person like all service animals. On SWA they usually preboard them and put them in the front row. I’ve seen plenty of times where the dogs would constantly bark and go to the bathroom on the plane. Once people realized the loop hole for flying with pets they exploited it. You can order the vest on Amazon and there are online docs that will give you the paperwork saying you need it to travel. Similar to go through the in-house docs for medical marijuana. It’s just a legal formality. But some airline are now putting restrictions because people were bringing on pigs, chickens, monkeys, etc.

Why not just tell people they have to buy an extra seat if they want to bring a pig (or whatever) on board? I'm guessing it would cut out all this exploitation.

im gonna bring a support pony on board. Or perhaps some support snakes.

All it takes is one person being ridiculous enough with their accomodation to change the rules. Someone should take that bullet.

IIRC, a month or so ago someone was denied with their support peacock.

And are the airlines really *required* to allow them???
Considering the bad press many of them have been involved in recently, I'd be kind of surprised if an airline didn't allow them. I can imagine the PR nightmare if some idiot desk monkey thinks that the paperwork is fake and denies an actual service animal.
