Ugh... water in my basement-- or should I say my below grade laundry room.

Got water coming in through the hack-job hole left in the masonry where the water and gas for the building enters. Got another spring along the front of the house where shoddy patchwork between the house and patio slab appears to have failed-- again.

I refuse to take another look into the garage. There is a small lake in there. :( :( :(
 
I just went to get a nightcap from a bottle of booze I hadn't opened in a few days. The barometric pressure has dropped so much since then that the bottle hissed when I opened it.
