Jeezus God, how long do I have to get woke up at 5:45 am and deal with this shit 34 times a day??? Can I locate & move the nest??? I cannot shoot at the parents cuz then the babies die. I was in tears earlier today, it's pretty bad. HALP

My hawks have not left since I moved in, although, I suspect most of them lived here before I did.
I actually like hearing the hawk calls early weekend mornings.
They aren't hawks though. Much smaller. They SOUND like wannabe hawks. It's driving me to tears, literally. And I usually, truly love bird sounds. I can't escape unless I wear headphones, or leave the house, cuz they go from tree to tree ALL OVER the property.
I had a family of 3 redtails when i moved into my house that would circle over my front field. I now have 27 at last count. Biggest flock of hawks ive ever seen in my life.
Awesome circle of life i have going. Ridiculous amount of nut trees = tons of squirrels = tons of food for hawks = tons of hawks.
yeah, at last count, I've got hawks, 1 family of bald eagles, a type of falcon, wild turkeys, what I'm sure is a wild boar, coyotes, rabbits, bats, skunks, racoons, fireflies, and at least 1 bobcat living just behind my place. That's just what I have visually seen.
the catch is that i live 20 minutes from baltimore and DC in teh middle of the mcmansionridden suburbs. My lot (tiny compared to yours im sure, 2 acres) and the lot across the street are the only wooded land left in the entire place. So stuff is hugely concentrated
Nah, it's the same here. technically, I'm still in the Tampa city limits, but I'm just on the edge. But there is still tons around. But it's close to the river, and there are a few undeveloped areas about, including a cowfield that for some reason is popular with 20 year olds just after a late night rain, for some reason of which I am unaware.
