WTF I know nothing...

I think Penn State was at fault because they not only knew what the guy was capable of but he aided in the running of a home for troubled boys. If he was so brazen about it he was raping kids at work in a semi-public place like a shower room just imagine what he was doing behind closed doors.

You know why Penn State players intentionally lose in the first half? They like being a little behind in the locker room.

Not that I know of....but that's a legal matter, not an NCAA matter. If the NCAA does put sanctions on Penn State, then this will set a precedence to go after drug convictions, and any other crime too.
I think most of the reason they don't go after individuals is because most Universities have disciplinary systems for individuals. That and the NCAA is an organization of institutions, not of 'people' per se. Penn State it seems like the entire higher echelon of school officials was in on it, which is the "institution," not just a couple undergrads.

That may be the case, but there is absolutely no precedence to the NCAA getting involved on legal matters. That's the important part. There was no athletic advantage in doing this. This is purely a legal issue. They will be opening a huge can of worms if they impose sanctions.

Tobacco use isn't an 'advantage' but it's heavily regulated by the NCAA.

It does fundamentally affect the athletic program that they knowingly employed a pedophile for years. This isn't like someone shoplifted or embezzeled money, this is literally employing a sexual predator to oversee students.

I'm with you on this. The NCAA is a governing body of school athletics and they would be doing themselves a giant disservice to overstep their boundaries in this case. Too big a can of worms. They make too much money to fuck with the revenue streams. It would be a death knell.

A death knell is raping little kids.

They could always kick them out.

The NCAA doesn't own the conferences nor do they own the bowl games. Kicking Penn State out of the NCAA opens the door for them to actually pay their athletes as well as let them play at that level for as long as they want (since there's no governing body on eligibility), thus Penn State would win more National Championships.

I STILL DONT KNOW WAT THE FUCK OCCUPY (CITY) IS
WHATS THE PURPOSE
WHAT ARE THEY PROTESTING

ANSWER MEEEE

Short and easy explanation. They are protesting the way Wall Street controls the economy to keep the flow of capital traveling upward instead of trickling down.

It's a good theory, but just a theory.

There is no unified reason for occupy anything, people are protesting the way things currently are for thier own reasons, some are protesting rich people, some the bailouts, some the current banking industry, etc... Theres a million reasons people are occupying, none of them agree, but in general they are showing the general public is not happy with how things are and this is the first step.
