Halp ETFC Health Alert : Forum Mascot in Danger!

? This is the only hateful thing I have posted in a very long time.

And it's not about hatred. Do you really think Edward is enjoying his existence right now?
I'm talking about PM's to me from you, mister.

It's not like he's dying from cancer... he has a treatable issue that is upsetting his stomach. IT HAPPENS... we don't kill off humans for it either.

He's not suffering. He's slept with us all night.... on my head. He wasn't feeling well yesterday, but it's no reason to just off him. I care too much about him and it sucks that some people can't share that kind of bond with a non-human life.

I can share a bond but if my cat's gonna have to go have operations and shit all the time and suck up all my money I'd get rid of him/her. I could never love a cat all that much to be honest, a dog maybe but not a cat.

Seems selfish and shallow, but okay.

:run:

I can totally see where fly and April are coming from. Sometimes you go through tough times with a pet, but that is not a reason to off them. We don't do that to people. Also, I have a cat that most people would have put to sleep by now and I just can't bear to do it. I love her too much. We all just get through these hard times with our loved ones and move on. At the times when you are cleaning up poo off of every available surface it's frustrating, but it happens. For those of you who think they should put the cat to sleep, think about how you would feel if that was your parent or child or dog. If you haven't already you will probably have this experience with one or many of those in your lifetime.

:heart:We do not have children and these little guys are considered our children so of course we would do anything for them. Even letting them go if they are suffering from something serious. :( He slept on my head last night so I doubt he is suffering.

If we were seriously going to off him, the time to do that is before we remove his penis. At this point, you can't kill the fucking thing because he has a cold... Jesus people.

:heart:FLY got a call back from the vet today saying his blood work came back fine. It was just a reallllly bad UTI. Which are normal for a cat with his issue.

Put him down and have him made into a hat, you'll never notice the difference.

Or call chuck testa

My cat threw up on my tile floor last night.

Obviously, I need to put her down asap.

just joking, but I am a little worried about her as she wasn't herself this morning. She has a routine that she never fails to follow, like clockwork. Not even a remote action towards it today.
