Ontopic Government Creates Poverty

I'm explaining myself poorly. Might have to do with my lack of coffee today.

Looking back on a person's life you can show what they've achieved. All their choices have been made regarding how hard they want to work, what they know, and various other things. It's easy to quantify. When I'm saying anyone has the potential to be wealthy, I mean that there are still choices to be made and the person's future is uncertain.

Ok. I agree with the uncertain future for all, and therefor not all can reach the same level. That's the way I see it.

Well of course I'm not going to write a 32 page dissertation on income ability here, but the vast majority of it can be broken down into those two things.

There are aspects of which are completely out of their control.

Yep. And its how hard you want to work to get around them.

Explain to me a life of someone who is smart and a hard worker, and yet is doomed to wallow in poverty. Lets flesh it out and see if you're right.

That's retarded. You want me to make up some random scenario, and if you deem it not to be believable enough, then that will solve this discussion? C'mon man.

You can't look at a problem like poverty in the US and just say "It's all because of dumb and lazy people". There is poverty in this country because of soooooo many different things. If you made everyone a smart hard worker, there would still be poverty!

No, I'd just like to see a scenario from you where a hard working, smart person couldn't earn what they want.

Smart and hard working are a Bell curve dude. So if you made everyone 20% smarter, the lowest would still be dumb.

Again, why does this depend on me coming up with some random single experience? It wont prove anything.

If anything, take a look at the unemployment rate. That's a lot of people not able to earn anything. If you think every single one of them are lazy or dumb, then you are delusional.

As compared to society as a whole? That's not delusional. I'm surprised that you're now willing to believe that at least 10% of this country ISNT dumb.

COQUI: How long did it take you to find a job when you got laid off?

Answer: That dude started hustling as soon as he heard and found one very quickly. Why? He's not dumb and/or lazy.

Careful, you're basically calling JuliBoolieNoPanty a lazy housewife.

Juli is already working on falling down the stairs enough to get workman's comp. What a shitty employee.
