Well I test drove the Versa and I was not impressed at all. The handling was subpar, the seats were uncomfortable, the equipment levels were quite low, the gas mileage wasn't THAT great. It is a great choice over a Cobalt, but that isn't saying much (is it, w_a_w )

I would love a diesel actually. They are just too bloody expensive and not available on the car(s) I am looking for. A turbo diesel Escape qualified to run on B100 with their 6sp DSG/PDK/InsertAcronymHere would pretty much be the greatest car ever designed. Maybe if they did a hybrid version with the same drivetrain.
