Does anyone have an Amazon Kindle?

Does the kindle autoformat whatever new book your reading to your preferred fonts, etc?

Does fly still use his regularly?

You can change font size, but I don't know about the font itself. And no, I haven't used it much recently as I'm working through my backlog of analog first...

does this thing read any PDF i dl off the internet?

cause that's all i really wanna do. don't care much for ebooks, just need something to read technical manuals, documents, install sheets, data sheets, etc. which always come in PDF's and typically with wiring diagrams/mountain details i need to see... which means, images are a must. does anything short of a laptop do this?

Yes. They offer a free service that will convert PDFs to AZW format.

yes, it works great. The only problem with a PDF conversion is that you can't flip directly to a chapter. But it remembers your last spot, so it isn't that big of a deal...

Let me know when you've downloaded the entire volume of National Geographic issues. I think it's like 100 files.
