Surprisingly, the 4.0 that the Jeeps came out with wasn't a bad engine at all. It had a bit of beef to it. I had a cherokee country with that engine in it, and that thing could haul ass when I kicked it to the floor.

Yeah I think mine was a 190hp. It was a Grand Cherokee (2001) Being a i-6 it had good kick down tq. I saw the guy I sold it to the other day. It has 174k on the clock and seems to be running well. I don't know what it is, but I seem to mod everything. Even if just a lil bit. I went all SQ stereo w/ it but sold it w/ the stereo and got a good about of cash for it. I remember having this Dodge Dakota ( 3.9l) You could NOT MAKE IT FAST. I did every bolt on thing you could think of. I think the Jet Chip helped the most. Now my Audi on the other hand it was easy. 1.8T 5v per cyl. I gained 50whp from chip and downpipe, and 100wtq.

I had a wagoneer limited which was essentially the same thing and it was surprisingly peppy...the jeep 4.0 was a great engine

I used to care about cars back when it was cool for your age.
There is nothing wrong w/ liking cars. I mean is it cool for your age to be on a pointless internet forum?

I love to watch them in Rally races.

I was out F-ing w/ my "dyno" on the iphone tonight.
I put the wrong weight in , but I think the numbers are prob close to being right.
My car is slow lol. It does weigh around 3700 w/ me in it. I wish I still had the results of the 500hp M5 my buddy has. It was insane for how big that car is.

Posting on a forum is definitely not cool.

I'm just saying there is a phase most people go through usually from 15-25 where it's plain cool to mod your car and spend stupid amounts of money on something that depreciates anyway.

Then you grow up and learn that it is wiser to put your money in places that it stretches farther.

I used to hang out in those car cliques and drive a Mustang with a Boss 302 paint job (but not much else since I was poor :shifty:) and race around and get stupid tickets... but now I look back and think what an idiot I was.

If you do not fall into that category then pleas skip over my rambling.

Ahh I see what you're saying, and I used to be the same way. I threw a dump load of money into the TT and used to go to a bunch of meets. Even though I still help run a car forum the whole performance modding thing is not really my thing any longer. I bought a set of stock Xenon headlights for my current car and i'm swapping them out w/ my stock ones. Other than that I just added an MP3 port to the car.

I just did not get what you were saying in your first post.
