Recently my outlook has gone funny on me (outlook 2003). The application will crash completely anytime I open an item into it's own window...be it double clicking an email, opening the details of a calendar appointment, a contact's information, etc. Everything is fine in the program otherwise, as long as I don't open anything fully. I can browse emails with the preview pane no problem. Also, If I am running Outlook in safe mode everything works just fine, things open up with no problem.
The crash is: MS Office Outlook has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. Then it wants to send an error report to Microsoft and restart Outlook. You know the window, blah. Worst error code ever.
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Office 2003, I've tried the repair function which is really a joke anyways, I have repaired the .pst file, I have all the latest updates and service packs applied.
I'm at a loss here guys, anybody out there have any idea what might be causing these crashes? I really don't want to have to go on using Outlook in safe mode forever.
Thanks in advance for any advice you might have to offer.
