no, not from the Red hot chili peppers..

my yard has fleas.. lil jordan, i don't think, has them too much.. he's on advantage or whatever .. but i think he's getting them from the vermin that creep up in the yard.. coons.. possums.. etc.. (funny that i'm in downtown st pete and STILL see these animals once a month in the yard)

any over the counter stuff you've used that's worked? hate to spend a buncha loot for the orkin man..

um... Do you have sandy soil?

Im thinking you probably do, and they always have been there, you just didnt notice them.

Get you some Seven Dust from teh Garden Department and sprinkle it all over your yard. That stuff kills fleas within a day. It works on carpet too (just sprinkle, leave it a day, then vaccum). We keep it sprinkled along the perimeter of our house to keep them out of our garage (because of the cats).

It washes away when it rains too, so the white stuff goes away, but it keeps working. It's pretty cheap too and doesn't "smell". Most simple way to apply it is with the foot of a pair of pantyhose.

It's pet friendly too, so you can use it on their beds (and them too actually)

My cat gets them and he is the only animal in the house. He is a strickly indoor cat but constantly gets fleas even on Advantage. It is really odd and my parents have gone as far as bleaching all carpets. There house has to be one of the cleanest house's in the world but yet my cat still gets fleas somehow.

No problem. I had a bad flea problem a couple years ago in my barn (from the cats) and this was the only thing we found to work effectively on a long term basis.

To use it in the house we always sprinkled it on the carpet before we left to go somewhere (kinda like with a bug bomb) and then vaccumed it up when we got home. It kills them while you are gone, and then you can suck the little suckers out of the carpet, along with their eggs.

*disclaimer* I don't recommend using this if you have small children that are on the floor a lot though. Just for safety's sake.

Fly me out to Florida, I'll bring the Glock. Once I arrive I will shoot wildly, and with little active wrist control, into the backyard area. The fleas will either die or flee for their lives.
