So whats this I hear about PS3 supply more limited than the 360 last year?

They've cut the Japanese allotment from 100,000 units to 80,000. They've completely stopped promising any more units for Japan until 2007. I would not be shocked to hear that less than 400,000 will be hitting the US as promised. Either way, at this point who cares? Their big system seller, Resistance : Fall of Man, is delayed till mid 2007. They have no big launch titles. There is absolutely no reason to buy one at launch anymore.

DON'T FORGET THAT RESISTANCE HAD ITS RES CUT IN HALF LOLOLOLOL

Anyway, is it the blu-ray that's holding them up? I hear the yields still suck bad.

That and their Cell processor isn't as powerful as they hoped. As elpmis mentioned, they've had to down res Resistance from 1080p to 720p because the system couldn't handle it.

I can't wait to play out this scenario on the DS

Seriously who wants to play another Zelda game? It has less plot diversity than the care bears.

You do understand that in its 20 year history, Famitsu has only issued 6 perfect score games. Two of those games have been Zelda games. Ocarina of Time was ranked as the first "perfect game" from Famitsu, IGN, and Gamespot and took perfect scores from almost every other person to review it. As of October 1, 2006, Ocarina of Time still maintains the top rated game of all time spot with a cumulative game rating average of 97.8%. The Zelda series maintains the record for highest ranking series with an lifetime average score of 92% over all Nintendo versions (we don't talk about the CD-i games). These facts in light, this means this is the weakest troll I've ever seen you attempt.

^if you've owned a computer since wolfenstein 3D you're fucking sick of them

I've gotten sick of them too...the genre needs a makeover...it's gotten so fucking stale...imo there has been nothing that has topped the excitement and playability of the original UT...the graphics have gotten better but the game play just isn't as exciting

Ocarina of Time? Never even heard of that.

No way it's better than Thief: The Dark Project.

 I never even owned a N64 but even I knew about that game. It was pretty badass in it's time, and still is today. I remember bringing beer to friends who were waiting in line for it in Fall of 1998.

Or we just need a new genre...

One of my most favoritest games ever:drool:
Actually, "The Metal Age" was better, but I  them both 4 ever
A couple others that are of equal awesomeness were Deus Ex and System Shock 2. All these games broke the mold and went way beyond what was expected.
