Had a box truck coming into my lane from that parking lot exit to the left, chose the snowbank. Since I didn't let him hit me it is legally only a disabled vehicle. Damage seems minor and if he gave the cops the excuse he gave me "I was just rolling slowly so you had enough space" that's a clear-cut fuck-up of a stop and hopefully my insurance doesn't go up. We would have collided had somebody not changed paths, and since he was obviously not paying attention I had to.

Being a good driver is incredibly frustrating

It really, really is. I'm not hurt, because of my own actions, but those actions may hurt me financially, so I'm just incredibly pissed.
If you don't report the accident to your insurance, you should be fine.

Better yet, carry a fuckin' shovel to dig your shit out of the snowbank next time. That looks about 5 minutes worth of work to me.

your snobbery is unbecoming
No he's right. You cant act like a dick and drive a Yaris

I get the pissed offedness though. My car OBVIOUSLY got hit by a shitty plow driver at work (front bumper has huge break in it) but insurance was like "lol that's your problem you didn't file a police report in the biggest blizzard in MD in 4 years"

Repurpose an old phone as a dash cam.
