American cheese has its place on a greasy spoon cheeseburger.

And on the shitty ham and cheese sandwiches that come on trays all cut into triangles, that they serve at corporate meetings and funerals and shit.

And that's it. Making a grilled cheese sandwich with cheese slices is a fuckin' crime.

I make a baby lima bean with American cheese, hot sauce and bacon bits dish that gets destroyed wherever I take it. But yeah, AC is shit anywhere you can still taste it. I like a nice grilled of gouda or provlone. Good bread helps too.
