Gonna be some corn shittin going on!
Quick story: (teens)me and couple buddies are out in the woods. One kid decides he will climb way the fuck up one of those steel high-power towers and take a shit. He does. Splat! His brother yells up to him, 'hey Bobby, I can see the corn mom fed us last night!"
THat is all.
...wait... how did he wipe?
was it a log?
was it runny?
i have so many questions

I believe it was a log when it came out, but I'd estimate he was about 100'/30 meters up. So yeah, it made a circle about a meter across. I don't think he wiped. He was blond and blue eyed, if that helps with your list.
It was one of these, he scaled it up to where the first wires were. We did that a lot, basically you climb the ones running at an angle like a monkey climbing along a branch.

why? is that a white thing to do?
why did you guys climb them? just to shit?

largely... yeah. Although even if you arent a redneck sometimes you get sucked into redneck shit cause theres nothing else to do

yeah @Maureen the venn diagram isn't just one circle, but there's a lot of overlap. a lot of rural shit can be explained by there being fuck all else to do or needs related to living in the middle of nowhere, but redneckery often has a particularly hee haw bent to it and redneck practices can be engaged in by folks not living in a rural setting. like, having a truck as a daily driver is rural af but it makes sense if you use a truck a lot for things (needing a vehicle with a bed for hauling wood, a place to pool put what you've hunted to get it back to the garage, etc), but rolling coal is straight up redneckery & the # of times I've seen that shit in Madison where the driver clearly lives there is Too Damn High.

In Philly the bunnies are rats. Not as cute but they're still at the bus stop.
I saw some pretty adorable rats when I was in NJ/NYC. NYC rats are actually genetically distinct from other rats, which is pretty cool!
at my new house, we just have stray cats that fight and fuck in my yard all night, making p much the same sound no matter which they're doing (though in their defense, I'd probably make terrible sounds and want to fight if Jason had a barbed dick)

true redneckery:

1) rolling coal
2) calling people faggots
3) hate
4) inbreeding
5) degrading education

Rural shit

1) trucks
2) manual labor
3) farming
4) outdoor activities
5) country music
6) overalls/carhartt/etc

Somewhere in middle

1) Self sufficiency (which sometimes turns into selfishness and falls in category 1)
2) risk taking (like climbing power poles)
3)

I feel @Darth Handsome overlaps both categories

self-sufficiency also includes "there, i fixed it" in the most ridiculous ways possible
