TONIGHT! ON ANAL SURVIVOR BUTTHOLE EDITION!

Nah, it's your standard gloss black plastic. Flash does stupid shit.

I have wondered if wood filament would work for this. You can stain it like wood.

I didn't know there was wood filament. Sort of a sawdust and hot glue mix I guess?

Bronze could make some pretty cool tap handles (I've no idea about temp requirements, expense, etc.).

The metal ones are interesting because you can actually put them in a kiln and burn out the binder and have a metal sintered part. Going to be my next serious project with this stuff.

Should be able to come up with some neat stuff as you have some experience with casting too.
From some brief reading I take it the metal is powdered or flaked so the printer doesn't have to melt it, just the binder, then the kiln at the right temp and duration can cook out the binder and bond the metal "dust" together without losing its shape.

There's probably a million applications for something like that.

Or for stronger stuff that needs to be cast can 3d print mirror image molds/fillers in fine detail.

I have MG Chemicals wood filament here, it's kinda shitty to print and doesn't look good when it's stained.

This is the cool thing now:
