I grew a small crop of peanuts one year, and they were amazing

Coyple years back Dad started to trade with a farmer down the road. He could come hunt on Dad's land, Dad got some of the meat and whatever crops the farmer felt like dropping off when he came over. Got a full bushel of peanuts one time and so he did boiled peanuts, roasted, all sorts of shit. They were incredible.

Actually quite tasty. Obviously substitute out the whole milk. Konjac powder(google it, I gotta run here) to replace the egg. Red lentils might be better, little less earthy tasting, imo.
More like the boring life of a cheapo who saves a ton of money eating left overs and who happens to be into lentils a lot right now.

Don't cook them so long. I often cook mine in veggie broth too. depending on what I'm using them for.
