WTF Bad boys, Bad boys, whatcha gonna do

I have had a few interactions with police. One time my dad renting the basement to this dude and he got drunk then wanted to talk shit. I told him i was going to beat this ass and he called the cops. 4 cops in 2 cop cars came for a 17yr old. I told them the guy left which he did. They asked if they could look in the garage and i told them no. They went in and looked anyway.

Another time my dads friend was over at the house and 3,500 came up missing. Their first question was why is there so much money around the house and then they tried blaming me for doing it.

Does that mean every cop i have had interactions with was bad? hell no

When that cop was illegally searching your domicile, what were the other cops doing?

When that cop was more concerned about what the stolen property was than he was about the theft of it, what were the other cops doing?

religion is a choice. Nobody is forced to be religious.
you can't control what you believe in, you can choose how you act or how you interpret a particular religion, but belief (or lack of it) transcends conscious choice

It is bs to claim that cops are racist. I have never heard any cop claim they became a cop just so the could target and kill black people.
so racists are only racists if they announce, specifically to you, that they are racist? also "I've never experienced this, therefore it never happens"

Here are the facts about these big bad racist cops. This year they killed 1.5 times as many white people.
http://killedbypolice.net/
p sure white people are more than 1.5x as numerous, so by those statistics it's still disproportionate

a cop signs up to do good and help people not to destroy lives. There are some bad ones yes but they are a very small minority of the 750+thousand cops.
*some* cops sign up for those reasons, and most that do don't stay that way for long. just simply not personally executing people isn't GOOD enough when you're choosing to participate in an institution that has a very real problem with killing folks and getting paid for it. they need to be taking active steps to unfuck themselves, but they refuse to even admit there is a problem. there is no accountability, the repercussions are laughable at best.

Point of contention. Belief may not be much of a choice for children as they're fresh in the world and still accept what they're told as "the way it is", but it certainly is a choice for adults. Plenty of people change their views on religion after gaining some life experience, switch denominations or entire religions, get converted or "saved", or eschew the religion they were raised in or all religion entirely. These are decisions, influenced perhaps, but not entirely out of their control. Theres people who start out devout, move to overt atheism, and then come back to religion even more hardcore. The opposite is true as well.

they watched him go in the garage
his partner didn't say shit.

My whole point is that those are not the views or actions of the whole department. it is only bad for the ones there

And they wouldn't get away with that stuff if the rest of the Dept. didn't let it happen.

I dont feel cops are doing anything wrong when they shoot people who don't listen or comply with them. it wouldn't have happened if they just complied.

I do have a huge problem with the way cops are with dogs. They love killing peoples pet dogs because they were "scared"
Cognitive dissonance, ladies and gents.

a) hey remember how this most recent one I posted was about a deaf guy?
b) so you think not listening to a cop should be a capital offense, and also that right to trial be suspended so punishment can be meted out instantly?

Maybe it could happen both ways.
I'm certain it does, but that means for some it's not a choice.

I couldn't choose to be a believer. I'm not certain if I ever was in a meaningful way, and not believing wasn't a choice, either. I can choose whether or not to go to church, or talk about my religion or lack thereof, or whether or not to indoctrinate my hypothetical future kids, but the core (lack of) belief I myself have isn't something I choose, just as I think it isn't a choice for you.

I chose not to believe. I was raise to believe, but I had some many questions of which the answers I was give never satisfied me. I really think that if a believer was to honestly question faith, then they would cease to believe.
