you stand in the street knowingly blocking traffic. when the traffic hits you how is it their fault when you were in the road?

did you see the video? it approached slowly, then speed up to plow through. it was intentional. and then, they rapidly fled the scene (also included in the video, and which also means they can't argue they were being detained because clearly they can egress when it suits them). it's not like people were hiding behind a blind corner and this was an unfortunate accident.

if someone is blocking my path on the sidewalk because they're talking to their friend, it would still be assault if I bodychecked them, even if I tried the weaksauce argument of "I was just trying to get past them"
