there was a story i read a while back about an HOA having two of its board members federally charged, and barred from being board members after ignoring a letter from a lawyer explaining the OTARD permissive actions. Something about "willful ignorance of informed laws"

At my old place in Maine someone brought up "not allowing satellite dishes". Even though it said 18"'ers were allowed.

I brought up OTARD and suggested they leave it alone, or I'd have a lawyer take care of it.

Shut them right up.
