Control freak man child.

@helenabear he runs his company like he runs his relationships. I wonder if @Maureen knows what the turnover was like there?

Meritocracy is a fiction.

It's a family company
His dad is not there any more but they have board of directors or some shit and the dad has "some" say.
So I'm not sure how much control CEO has exactly.

CEO built the company in 5 years to like 5x its size or some shit I hear him brag about
His employees love him. He is very charismatic and is giving.
One of his assistants wants to bang him so bad. She's mega thirsty for him.

It read as if it was just to get a reaction out of you and not actually bang a hooker.

He was pissed that I once again chose not to spend the night with him and be a mommy on a Sunday night plus 90 day fiancé was on and I was too lazy to shave #truth
So,
He turned on the FMF app and drove to a motel and was doing laps in the parking lot.
I could see him on the FMF app.
While the whole time he's "on line" on WhatsApp texting someone
Then drives away and turns the app off... niggaaaaaa!!
---yawn--
I played those games in high school...

There was a whole other story to this shit as this whole thing was playing out @helenabear and I were laughing at ththe play-by-play

Then came his story... lol

Course of events is getting hard to follow here, might have to wait for the book.

Not only was she crazy for sticking around, she BEGGED him to come back.
Theeeeeen when he moved on with me she almost lost her mind.

Her interactions with me deserves its own thread. I don't know what he did to her and why she was so broken when he left her but it was not a pretty picture. She literally couldn't do anything with out his help for a long time.
She's better now and more independent but if she got wind of CEO and I being on the outs she would be ALLLLLL OVER that shit again.

She's CRAZY.
Maybe she needed that type of person to survive. Maybe he made her feel so useless with out him that she panicked and thought she would shrivel up and die with out him.
Whooooo knows

So, someone in my circle was discussing her life. She basically is incapable of functioning without her husband, even the most basic stuff. And in her world, she doesn't understand why she should be expected to know these things, even when they were pretty simple 'life requires these things' type stuff. She's totally dependent on her husband for just about everything. If they were ever to split, she would need a new man asap. Boggles the mind how people are okay with that, but I suspect that's just how she was raised, boys do all the thinking, girls just look pretty and be domestic. It was in talking to her that I began to realize it's not as rare a condition as one might think.

Some people are never taught to be independent. Especially if you get married right after moving out of your parents house.

Happens a lot with the older generation as it's the "men are the head of the household" mentality. :(

She's never lived on her own has she?

Friend of mine was having trouble in her marriage and she was terrified of divorce because of the dumbest things she didn't know how to do. She lived with her parents until she was like 25 then moved in with her husband and they've been together for like 25 years.

She's had a good career at a major company, but she was telling me like changing the in her car, if the lights went out she knows what a breaker is but has no idea where it is or how to flip it, her husband takes care of all the bills so she doesn't know how to do any of that. Real basic shit but she's managed to go through 50 years without doing any of it herself.

She's far from dumb or useless, she just stays in her lane.
