Hawt NFL Deserves Its Own Thread - THIS ONE

15 years ago today Drew Bledsoe was running to the sidelines and was destroyed by a New York Jets linebacker suffering internal injuries. A little known 2nd year back up QB named Tom Brady jogged onto the field and the rest is history....

Why was the linebacker running around if he had internal injuries?

If the Pats manage to beat Buffalo next week, does Sexy Rexy get shitcanned before he boards the team plane? And his brother too.

They can ride their tandem bike home if that happens

Depending on how the season goes, it's not like you will be gaining that much on that first rounder.

First off, the Eagles aren't better now that they traded their veteran starter, and are pinning everything on Wentz, an already injured rookie, and Daniel, an untested backup. Unless Wentz is the next coming of Cam or Luck, his rookie season is going to be rough. Maybe that's the Eagles play. Suck now just to get a good year of OJT on the rook to make him better next year.

Now, next year. Before today, your first round pick was gone, sold to Cleveland. So you picked up the Vikings. Now your back in. But if the Vikings have a good year, that first rounder from them will be high. Maybe even, dare I say it, last pick in the first round high (Skol Bitches. I still believe) . At best, if the Vikings have a complete collapse but still make happen on talent, which they have a lot of, it's a mid rounder.

Now, again unless Wentz has an atypical rookie year, you first rounder will be mid to low. Which means Cleveland is most likely now going to get a lower first round pick from their trade with you, along with their existing first round pick they still have. Potentially 2 first round draft picks early on for Cleveland. That's huge for them.

So, Minnesota get's a QB who has durability issues but can probably play as good as TB, for a low first rounder and a 4th rounder, and gives a much better chance of, one way or another, having a seasoned starter at the helm both this season and the start of next. He'll stay both seasons but then he's gone after 2017.

Did the Vikings come out ahead, or even stay even, in this trade? Who knows. They depends on how the season plays out. But losing your starting QB, especially with him being as young as he is so drafting QBs hasn't been a priority, usually comes with a pretty steep price. Not many teams that have that happen are able to walk away scott free.
