Food When you make eggs and toast

all this egg talk reminds me of my sister telling me a couple weekends ago when I was visiting. . . 'oh, we get fresh eggs from a neighbor. I just call & she sends one of the kids down to grab some from the laying hens.' & my sisters goes to the fridge & gets out the dozen container & says 'yeah, sometimes they aren't even washed yet. LIKE THESE.' & opens the container to nasty ass looking eggs. . :lol: she added "yeah, we have to crack all eggs in a separate bowl first before we use them. Every now & then it's 'oh, look, you can kind of see a beak.'"

That's a delicacy in some places. Not at my house tho.

Planning an enjoyable retirement on my mountaintop farm.
I actually truly love the culture, wish there werent so many damn dialects.
I'd like a decent command of at least one southern language. Tagalog is useless on Mindanao, and my wife's dialect Davaoenu is too restrictive to say 5% of the island.

I like my eggs benedict style the best so I guess I'm an on the toast kind of gal. Runny egg with runny egg and salty meat on bread is the BEST!
