Food When you make eggs and toast

Spread toast with jam, throw bacon/sausage/whatever and the egg on top of it, fold it in half and eat it like a taco. Or use two slices of toast and make a sandwich.

If eggs are over easy, pre-break the yolk and let it run onto the plate, then use "taco" or sandwich to dab up the yolk.

This is also quite good, savory/sweet.

Used to do this with marmalade.

LPT: breakfast before shower

i feel gross rolling out of bed and not showering first thing.

Also, im 3/4s asleep through the first 20 to 300 minutes of my day. If i can spend that time in a safe environment like a shower where im less likely to kill myself until fully awake, thats better.

I wasn't specifically talking to you.

But after Hill's speech last night I was feeling all 'inclusive.' :p
i had the displeasure of seeing some of that when peanut and i were out and about grabbing some pho last night and it was on the tv playing.

When she used a disabled immigrant for the sole purpose of bolster her message, that was kinda the point i wanted to go home. It was so blatently fake.

eggs sunny side up, yolk runny as fuck, toast next to it. salt and pepper eggs, then stab the yolk with the toast and sop up all the gooey goodness.

if they're soft boiled eggs, then just smushed/mashed on the toast and eat it all with a fork

I haven't had 'toast' in ages. Bagels ftw.

So we went to a schmancy restaurant in NJ last weekend before my tri, and one of the small plates we had was "carrot toast". I haven't had toast in fucking forever and this is the new trendy thing so we figured what the hell. It was a carrot Parmesan puree with thinly sliced radishes and microgreens on a delicious piece of rustic sourdough. It was the most thoughtful toast I've ever had in my life. And now I'm going to catch hell for this little anecdote

no good for sandwiches, but awesome by itself. Crunchy, chewy, great flavor all on its own without anything evne on it.
