[Contest] UF Xmas Giveaway, Week 2

No one entered this one. You literally could have sent a single picture in of almost anything half way creative and won.

I thought this could be a funny idea, but it has failed. :(
hahaha omg i knew i should of just thrown anything in.

but i honestly couldn't think of anything witty. seems like a difficult concept to stage.

@kiwi sent in a picture with her in it, and a fly stamp.

But she sent it in wrong. Which you said would be disqualified.

Lol, that wasn't technically for the contest.

I'm not funny picture creative and figured everyone else would be me out by a long shot.

If I had my new camera, I would have entered. :(

I saw a minivan on Tuesday with hilariously un-minivan type stickers on it, but couldn't get a clear shot while behind him on Dale Mabry. Can we extend or have a new contest?

BTW, thank you fly. The Kindle is awesome. I'm already using it way more than I use my iPad. Fucking thing fits easily into jeans pockets.

for what? I've been trying to get some use out of this thing and I can't find anything it does with any sort of competence :( then again I still haven't rooted it, I'm sure the hardware is fine but amazon OS developers need to be punched repeatedly in the dick

there's this random old dude that walks by my house every morning at like 6:50am, he's always carrying nun-chucks, i was going to take a picture of him but didn't know how to get myself in it without being completely obvious and possibly getting nun-chucked.

i should probably take a picture of him anyways. a few days ago it was raining so he was carrying an umbrella in one hand, those nun-chucks in the other... no idea where he's coming from or going that early in the morning.

It does have some issues with network communication and Ap store finding, but I mostly use tablets for mobile media readers and players. When I was sitting in the hospital yesterday waiting for my mom to get out of surgery, I was able to watch a show I downloaded to it (as opoosed to trying to stream on the hospital network)

worked fine. I suspect it will be a great media viewer for flights.

The network communication thing might be that it turns off wifi after the screen has been off XX number of minutes. You can turn that off it you want.

Also, if you get the Plex app, you can sync shit from my Plex server to your tablet. ;)

Yeah, I figured it was a timeout/power save thing based on screen activity. I havent' really fiddled with the settings yet. I'll be playing with it more extensively this weekend.
