Hold on, I'm looking for government statistics.
You probably believe soccer is the least popular sport out there too.

Also, I separated myself from religion once I became old enough to really understand some of the songs they forced us to sing back when I was in a Lutheran school.

Songs like:

Jesus loves me this I know
For the Bible tells me so
Little ones to him belong
They are weak but he is strong.

Essentially, as a kid, I'm worthless and weak without Jesus.

Bitch, I'm a strong motherfucker.

And if anyone ever makes my kid sing that song, I will punch them in the throat.
You will never breed.

I don't know the difference between evangelical and mainline protestantism...

I'm not really practicing, but I'm confirmed as a member of the ELCA. So I guess that's evangelical? I mean it's right there in the name, but it's not all way out there, like those weird Missouri Synod Lutherans...

I dunno, my feelings on God are confused, and the Pope seems like a cool guy.

Catholicism is one thing that has kept the US in the state it's in. Imagine if you could if South/Central America was all Muslim based vs Catholic. It would be a very different situation here if that was the case.

So kiko picked his bible stories book for bedtime tonight. .

So we are reading this part about God creating earth and the animals and plants etc

And outta nowhere we get hit with the obey question ?@?!?

Do u like plants?
Do you like trees?
Are flowers beautiful?

DO YOU ACCEPT GOD AS YOUR HOLY SAVIOR AND WILL YOU OBEY HIM FOR ALL ETERNITY OR BURN IN HELL

Lolz. I think the presumption is that (for example) you as a parent (or teacher) would ask a child to do something good or beneficial. I think for a kid, it's a consequences thing, not a control thing.
Question 4 seems completely irrelevant to the little story. Why is obedience suddenly a thing, and why does Kiko not only have to obey, but also be happy about his obedience?

Guilt trip. Obey and like it, mwahahaha

Have you read Genesis? Just because the question doesn't pertain to what was said in the first page, doesn't mean it doesn't pertain to later on in that very story.

Adam and Eve disobey God and have to live with the consequenes of their actions.

Right, but where in the story I posted does it say anything about Adam and Eve? They pop up waaaay down the story in this book

Asking the kids about nature being nice and fun then hitting them with the obey question makes zero sense

Way down the story in this book? You know we can see it says Adam on the next page right?(4th line from the bottom)
