like really, thin trying to make it out as though racism is just a relic of the past is a goddamn shining example of privilege, it's him never having been in a position to experience what a person of color has so rather than believing their experiences he just thinks it's not real because it isn't for him. that's a prime example of someone using their privilege to ignore reality and some of y'all are still gonna be like "nah I don't think that's a thing"

Your claims about what you think of me and my opinion is silly. It makes you sound like you think black people are still being brought over on boats and sold into slave labor. Does racism exist? Yes. I've never said it doesn't. I've simply stated that for the most part, people don't care about this little stuff.

Next thing you know we'll have to add a transsexual person to their emoji list and a guy/girl missing an arm and a leg to represent the disabled. In order to cover everyone, you'll have to make 6 billion different emojis. If you don't you're evil for isolating someone out of the group.

pointing out privilege isn't about shaming or guilt, it's about recognizing that others may have more relevant experiences than you based on that

yeah but like why does wanting to be inclusive upset you when it 100% has nothing to do with you? you don't even use emoji because you had no idea what they were even talking about

Because there's so many other things these people could be complaining about, but this is what they chose. they spent time and money on something that literally does not matter. If you're going to bitch about racial inequality, do it with something that matters. Find a case where a white man was hired to do a job when a black man was more qualified to do so. That's a worthy fight.

That seems like the opposite message of what should be being said. That everyone is equal.
