WTF UCSB shooting guy posted a creepy manifesto on YouTube. It's since been pulled...

YES WE DO HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT THAT. Maybe not for ourselves, but for our wives, daughters, sisters, mothers, friends, and every other fucking person on the planet. Anyone else on that subway can and should get involved.

This is OUR world, we all live in it, and should be making it a fucking better place where people DO NOT have to put up with this shit.
I fail to see what this has to do with your statement about how her refusing would be perfectly safe.

You are changing the topic.

where did I say it would be perfectly safe?
I reserve the right to use rhetoric as long as it is on topic.

that's not how it works. that's how you THINK it works. that's how you've been programmed to THINK it works.

Life works how YOU make it.

You can choose to put up with it, or you can choose to change it.
Your implication was that her judgement was faulty and that she would be in fairly the same position if she refused outright.

It doesn't change the fact you're last post was intensely off topic which could almost be construed as an attempt to move away from your original position. So unless you have some staggering leap of logic that is going to tie it all together you might as well suck it up because you were just plain wrong son.

I can recognize how a thing SHOULD be and alsobstill know it isn't that way. I should be able to just say no, and the fact that I gave in would seem to reinforce his behavior. at the same time, when my ass is on the line, I'm going with self preservation over using that as an opportunity to educate, and it is not my job to fix him.

I hate that using the "I have a boyfriend" line is what's most likely to get creeps to back off because my own lack of interest or consent should be reason enough, but at the same time experience shows its NOT the case, and in that moment, SHOULD isn't nearly as important as the reality of the moment

But you call out JCC for doing the same?
He'd have to string together a logically coherent post first.

Also point me to a post where he does anything except move the goalposts or evade the issue.

her experiences are not unique

Rape doesn't exist in iowa

don't use how you construe things as "me making a statement". That's flat out wrong.

i guess you can take your internet victories however you like.

ugh..... you're missing the point of the argument. this has to do with nutjobs....not gender inequality and misogynistic behavior. just sickos being sick.
No you're missing the point.

You are dismissing them as 'nutjobs' because you think there is no way in hell that a systematic ideology that teaches hate against women could possibly exist.

I dismiss it because it will always be minority amongst able minded, civilized, men..... It's not a rampant problem anymore than any number of other mentally handicapped minority problems.

Is racism over, too?

That's not following his post; he's simply falsely equating "problem over" with "minority held belief". An attitude doesn't become less problematic once merely 49.9% of people hold it.
(you liked this post)

quote me again where I equated anything at all to "problem over"

You quoted the rampant post as his example that the problem was over as opposed to a minority

not trying to be a dick, but I've heard of guys getting caught pissing whilst publicly intoxicated being charged with sexual assault if a woman happened to be walking by.

I don't think that's true. Indecent exposure is not the same as a sexual assault charge. You haven't heard of guys getting charged with assault for peeing. Don't make things up.

what the flying fuck

you don't have to worry about that for yourself. you are not the woman afraid to walk alone at night.

yes we should be making it a better place, so what the fuck are you arguing about? what are you suggesting be done about it? ideally it would be nice if she didn't have to put up with that situation but she does. we don't live in an ideal world and the fact is that kind of thing does happen and they have legitimate reason to worry about it.

You have to register as a sexual offender for urinating in public in some states.

again, that's due to an indecent exposure charge. registering as a sexual offender does NOT mean the sexual assault statistics are skewed because of people peeing outside
