A ship that was intended to spend all it's days on the Great Lakes wasn't built for Great Lakes weather?
That ship was always a topic when I lived in Superior.

It was sailing that day with two other ships who hauled up near land for weather but the captain on the Edmund liked to push it. He kept going despite having a list and no radar. The low freeboard on the older great lakes ships is scary. I'd never go on one.

@Jehannum whats in each pipe?

Ive had to figure between hot and cold pvc any number of times when i had no idea which was which, that was fun.

Obviously yours arent that, but still, there may be a way (IE, if its a drain line.... run hot water through it for 10 minutes from the house, then cut the warm pipe)

One's for my drip irrigation, one's for my yard sprinklers. I need to cut the drip line, and run a riser up into each of my raised beds, and stop being such a dumbshit with black pipe above ground.

I was going to try a mechanic's stethoscope (a long rubber tube), and see if I could hear one or the other moving water while it was on.

Fair answer. Points for rebuttal.
