Yes, this happens almost every time. But, there aren't a ton of avenues to sell shit that reaches a mass amount of consumers, unfortunately.

Yeah I know. I stick to Ebay now and ship everything. I'm lucky I work in logistics so shipping is pretty cheap for me and everything is right at my finger tips. I understand what a pain it is and how expensive it can get to ship something heavier when you have to pay regular shipping prices.

People on craig'slist are looking for a deal.

You mark everything up, then when they try to bid you down you just give in a little and still end up ahead.

Or if you have a firm price be like $XXX DELIVERED and people will think they are getting a deal because you will drop it off at their house.

I'm not delivering shit. I always list high, then gradually go down in time.
These are people flat out offering over $100-$200 less than what it's listed for. Totally rude.

I feel like you dont understand craigslist. Thats just how it is.

Its like an online flea market listing, negotiation is part of the deal.

Buying and selling anything to people you don't know is a rip off. There is no way I would buy something like that remotely close to what the seller perceives as the "real value".

something small that has less potential to be broke I have zero issues with. An appliance or something electronic no way. You have zero way of knowing the real condition of the product and it's actual use. I would rather buy retail and get the warranty.

Along the lines of buying and selling shit online convo....I am reminded again today why I HATE dealing with the US Postal Service. We have customers that insist on using them because they can be cheaper and a lot of times when I buy something on Ebay the people selling want to use USPS to save a buck as well. But along with the cheapness comes shitty delivery service, shitty customer service, and inaccurate tracking of packages. Once again spending my Monday morning trying to track down something that was suppose to already be delivered and these jackasses don't have a clue. Frustrating...

It's only accurate with priority shopping within the US, I've found.
Standard is bullshit for tracking & reliability.

They wonder why they are losing money hand over fist. When I have customers that want to use them or vendors who want to ship to me using them I practically beg them not to. I'm lucky if 1 out of 3 packages get delivered without incident.

I recently shipped Carys' sister something overseas using USPS priority and the tracking is shit and the guesstimation on when it should arrive is even more shit.

Within the states its satisfactory tho. Nothing near as great as FedEx and UPS... but that's to be expected. hmpf.

Priority flat rate is the best thing ever. I don't know why you'd use first class if you wanted to track something. It's literally 5-14 days.
