So I found out yesterday why we all need to vote Libertarian this year. If Bob Barr can grab 5% of the vote, then the government will be forced to recognize the party and will be required to split the federal funds given out for elections three ways. In effect, we become a three party system!

So especially if you are in a state where your preferred candidate is a surefire win, why not try to get another party's foot in the door? Vote Bob Barr, not for Bob Barr (because he's not going to win), but for the future!

I wasn't going to vote at all, because I don't like either candidate, but this is enough to get me to the polls! What say you eff?

I was already planning to vote libertarian without knowing that. Only by enough people voting outside of the two parties can we eventually have any real changes in our government.

I find it ironic that someone that mocked Ron Paul in the primaries is now going to vote Libertarian.

Being from Georgia and having dealt with Barr before, there's no way in hell I'd vote for him. Most Libertarians are now revolting against Barr as well.

There is no way Barr will get anything out of it but maybe the party will.

So why the Libertarians huh? Are you being paid by the Libertarian party? Why not the World Socialist Party of the United States or the Modern Whig Party?
