The neighbors daughter (like 9 years old) flagged me down this morning and said there's a "baby deer" (I assume one of this springs fawns) stuck in the vacant yard next to us and couldn't get out. So I said let me get off the street and park and I'll come help.

So I go over there and it's gone already. There's a small part in the back corner where the fence is shorter than the rest. Probably jumped over there.


If it was actually stuck, like a leg caught in the fence or something, I was gonna scoop it up and let her pet it.

We have a big population of small deer here that live right in town. See them all the time. They don't grow nearly as big as they do up in God's country but man there is a lot of them.
