Thread What the hell is this? (PS - Im Dum)

google it.
The popular opinion of other people who have claimed to solve that puzzle does not prove that there's a number underneath that car, let alone a number that would fit some hypothetical pattern. You can make an educated guess, but that is still little more than a guess.

Information theory, bitches.

It could be anything. The assumption that the number under the car follows any pattern that may exist amongst the other numbers is, well, an assumption. In fact, it's completely possible that there isn't even a number under that car.
:waw:

Silly thing from Facebook, but I want to see if @thintoast can figure it out.

since it's just a drawing, there's obviously no number under the square. however if you look at it upside down you might be able to guess the answer they're actually looking for.

Imagine looking at your parking spots from an apartment window. It might look like that.

From the incoming car, however, it's going to look a lot different.

Assuming of course the numbers on the parking spot follow a linear trend, which isn't stated here and assumption doesn't imply fact. In theory you could come up with a taylor series that puts any number you want underneath the car, and then say "that's the pattern!"
