I hear Islands of Adventure is the best one out there but I have never been. You should be able to buy a pass for both Universal and Island of Adventure since they are attached.
I need a vacation, luckily my best friend gets married in 3 weeks so I can use that as a mini-vaca
Islands of Adventure is the best park for rides. As in fun, thrilling rides. If that is what you want to do, go for it. I also suggest you purchase the fast pass if they have a special on it that day. It does cut down your wait a whole bunch.
As for the power outage I did not even know it happened till my techs called me trying to get out of working since the power was out at all the sites they were at. I said "Hell NO! Get to work BITCHES." And they did.
