Just never liked the camera angles and gameplay as much. Find using a controller much easier than a mouse/keyboard.

I HATE the lookspring on a console controller vs. using the mouse to control view...you would take 5 headshots hi2u before you could line up 1

Install bf1942.
Download bf1942 patch 1.6 here and install.
Download bf1942 patch 1.6b here and install.
Download DC here and install.
Optionally, download dcx (dc extended, adds new weapons, tweaks, fixes, new units, etc) here and install. Note you need to install it inside your bf1942 folder \ mods folder. By default it wants to install it to the default bf1942 game folder. If you are like me and have a separate partition for games, make sure you point to your bf1942 folder. The installer is dumb and doesn't automatically locate game folder.
