i built a serious end table.
or did i?
DUN DUN DUNNNNNNNN!
I did a serious lol at this thread.
Not to nitpick ( OK nitpicking) but if you'd mounted that speaker facing upwards into the unit and angled the front face of the unit inwards from bottom to top as a sound board then you'd have turned it into a proper horn.
What else is on the connections side?
needs more raised panels. And some muthafuckin' varnish.
And a crossover and a tweeter
I'm just joshing him but in fact separate speakers for different frequencies do ( as I'm sure you already know) make for clearer sound.
What sub/specs? I see the Armageddon branding on the dust cover...
it's a 15" kove armageddon.
it's this: http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?partnumber=300-750
That's prolly just the sub for a surround system
it has two coats of satin polyurethane on it, which matches the rest of our furniture perfectly. i am thinking of getting a slab of soapstone to fit in the recess on the top though.
I'd put a light layer of foam between 'em to make sure that it doesn't rattle
That sounds nice. For some reason it looks completely unfinished in the photo. Cameras have a way of not capturing surface sheen
yeah, it really doesn't look like it's been finished, but that's what my wife likes. i don't think the florescent lighting helps either - it looks much better at home.
that's a way better idea than these pennies i was going to use!
