Food The (not so) delicious food thread

I made some fucking KILLER whole grain mustard. I will never, ever buy mustard again.
It's awesome. I cant believe people use yellow mustard.

You know most of the plants we eat are varietals of brassicas. Turnips, cabbage, kale, mustard, broccoli and cauliflower, are all the same plant.

We needed you for onboard cruise trivia.
Funny story, the girl I was with for like a year, we went to a restaurant when we were car shopping. Anyway it was trivia night. So I kept answering questions to her out of boredom, we waiting for food. Got nearly all of them, she was like you couldve told me you were smart and I couldve got shots.

Also mustard related, my hometown used to produce mustard gas in WW2
Mustard gas is brutal. I took a class on it once. There's like no coming back from it, it's just basic cell death. The photos are nauseating even for me. Strangely bleach will neutralize it.

i think caviar is gross. you can’t pay me enough money to ever try it again..

who here eats it and knows about it (i’m laughing even asking y’all this)

i have to deal with this shit in a flight next week. 12 oz sturgeon caviar is being delivered to me for the passengers
