Tire #2 on the truck had a bead seal fail.

So I'll take the opportunity to get a bead grind done on the three remaining wheels and put some new tires on.

Current set went on in February of 2019.

I think I'd probably be looking at one of the cheap electric commuters in your shoes. Then again, maybe that's not the greatest idea in Texas, where "a quick trip" is like 800 miles.

54mpg aint nothin to sneeze at. Just enough of a truck for fly to feel nice and butch. What's not to love?

Since this will be our *only* car, I'm hesitant to get electric, unless it was maybe a Model S LR

Edit: that looks like consumer reports, which is funny cause as of January of this yesr the Maverick was rated in the most reliable pile on CR.

The 2022 Forester has it, as does the 2023 Maverick. CR probably just doesn't like your cars from the 1980s.
