i'm trying to make a list of awesome songs that make you really feel alive while driving, whether around town or on a long trip.
any suggestions?

Breakin the Law - Priest
Hobo Humping Slobo Babe - Whale
Master of Puppets - Metallica
Hot for Teacher - Van Halen

Just a few, no real genre there, just energy and lyrics you can shout to the people driving next to you. (with or without rolling your windows down, that's your call to make)

I'd also have to go with the whole Energy album by Operation Ivy. That album just kicks so much ass.

I swear everyone and their mom covers that Knowledge song. Op Ivy is one of the few bands I actually hate.

Unearth's The On Comming Storm is a great album to rock out to, anytime.
Against Me - Reinventing Axle Rose
BigWig - Stay Asleep
Evergreen Terrace - Writers Block (Has a cover of that damn song)
Bad Religion - All Ages

You hate Op Ivy? Man, I thought more of you than that. :(

I've never heard an Op Ivy cover before.. I not sure anyone would do it justice.

I like Molly Hatchet - Flirtin' with Disaster

Seems like every time that song comes on I end up almost wrecking my car!

Since I'm only here for a few more months I have to rely on public transport which isn't as bad here as it is in North America (Having flashbacks of an unwashed retard rocking back and forth and calling me a "Fucker" on the Toronto underground.)

I have recently rediscovered the 90's, and in particular US3 - Cantaloop. This isn't normally my thing, but it's unique. Why can't all these assholes rap like this.
