I saw that yesterday. The smear campaign on her was just diabolical but congrats to her! She stuck to her guns and argued that her record for public leadership would trump any slandering her opponents would do and she was right and prevailed!

though I agree with you (and practice that policy) it's not the way things "run" around here. there's a certain expectation about new threads. one of which is probably "if there's already a similar thread don't make one".
