Yeah I replaced everything from joists up. There were 3 subfloors on it and half the joists were broke. It bounced like a trampoline, now you could crack your head open on it.

Okay just to get the kiki jabber out of the way before she gets here.

You look to be a bit of a perfectionist. Which annoys me.

whats perfect about it? i mean, looks like normal flooring work to me.

gonna carpet it? put down cement board and tile it? hardwood floor?

Oh yeah. That pile in the second pic, with the rubbermaid containers on top of it, is white oak.

Next up is tar paper, then the oak. Walls also need painting sometime.

I am... but there is nothing to perfect about it. Seams are regular because it wastes the least material and I vacuum tons because I dont have anyone to clean up after me.

Duh... I'm just say in the way of being not perpendicular with the wall. Don't talk down to me, jerk. :fly:

I need to build toolboxes first. I am messy, I keep most of them on the kitchen table, in desk drawers, in my closet. >.>

What kind of floors?

Yeah, bamboo is nice. Just like putting down hardwood. It's not hard, just tiring, and you need to pay attention to little details.
