i was walking out the door, forgot the rest. when i go to uselessforums from another site, i get that message. click on one of the forum links from that page and it works.

I had the same problem. At first I thought I was banned. And was like 'wtf' I just was approved!?! Then I realized that they probably changed the link. And that's what it was. :cool:

Can I ask what those are? I use phpBB and the admin functions are cool, but I can't figure out how to sticky a thread after it's been made. Perhaps I'm just inept at it. Is the UI better for selecting what you want to do? Could we get a screen shot of how it looks perhaps?

I use phpBB for a few other forums and I like it. It works, and I'm a huge fan of opensource and freeware. Anything of the like really gets me happy ;)

i've used both. the free versions of ipb are still floating around. there are plenty more options with ipb than phpbb
