How exactly are those relevant at all? Nuclear arsenal are not soldiers. This would be the equivalent if they destroyed cannonballs during peace time as a means of upholding the 3rd amendment.

Just because it is the easy choice doesn't mean it's the right choice. Because of Fannie Mae (F.D.R.) and Freddie Mae (Tricky Dick Nixon) the government owns 90%+ of all mortgages. Which in turn eliminates Private Property Rights. Which is what Hitler used to restart the value in the Deutsche Mark.

what if there is a gay gene and someday they'll be able to test fetus's for it? will you still be all for abortions?

yes. similar to testing for down's syndrome and aborting. It could be just one more genetic predisposition the parent's can choose to filter out, like hair color.
