Never, ever get a game server from ArtOfWarCentral v.Paypal refunds

THEY SUCK

Never, ever use them. Ever.

I finally got them to refund my money for overage payment. After 3 weeks and literally about 40 emails. All for $40.

They still owe and refuse to refund:

WAW - $25
Sarcasmo - $10
Schmilkk - $6.66

Their last reply about you guys refund:
Sorry there is not much I can do it clearly states in our terms of service
that any deposits made to your artofwarcentral account are to be for game
server service only; it is in our terms of service as well.

Below is a copy of the section of the terms of service, for the full TOS you
can check our webpage.


Account System - On this site we use our own account system. This system
manages all billing functions for your account. If your account has a credit
card on file our system will bill the last credit card you used on your
payment screen. All service is ducted from your online account then
collected. You are responsible for keeping your online account balance on or
above a $0.00 balance. All donations you collect through our web site will
be added to this total. When service charges apply all amounts will be first
deducted from your online account balance. Remaining charges will be auto
debited from your credit card were applies. If we are unable to collect
payment from a credit card on file you have the option to pay any additional
charges via paypal.com through the same system. ALL deposits are
non-refundable and can only be used towards current or future service.

I suggest you email them, file a dispute with Paypal, and file a complaint with the FTC. Shitty customer service pisses me off, and I'd do all the legwork on it if I could but it's your cash.

Anyway, about the refunds...

We were paid a month in advance, so I owe you guys some cash. I took what your percentage of last months payment and will refund you. The refunds are as follows:

fly - 12.50
waw - 12.50 *sent*
sarcasmo - 12.50 *sent*
dirk - 37.50 *sent*
Arátoeldar - 7.50
Coqui - 5.00
Schmilkk - 3.30 *sent*

So Ryan's latest project was to take 2 hard drives and connect them like one hard drive... and he says that he can now get BF2 to play at 2048 x 1536 with all of the settings set to High.

He giggled like a girl.

I was like WTF is this...then sarah sent me an IM about what res i run BF2 and now i know. LOL

Thanks dood! Sorry it was so hard to get everyone together. And lately I've been all sucked into PSP...but now that my pc is better than i thought it might be time for some games. :)

And yes..Sarah got it mostly right...got rid of xp64bit...setup 2 80gig sata running raid0...isntalled xp32bit, got new chipset drivers, using DNA Force 2.0 77.77 enhanced drivers. WOAH! GIGGITYGIGGITY...2048x1536 High everything..But i can't have any antialiasing...i CAN have AA at 1280x960 wich looks REEEEEEEEAL good all widescreen style! :cool:

Ummm... The paypal "deposits" are surreptitious supscriptions. And there was no services rendered for said money. That's theft, brotha...
