I want to be able to see what traffic is going where on my home network. Data, rates, usage, maybe even logging?

Is there anything that can do this on a Microsoft home network?

you could still set it up to be in the same subnet as the first router with all data passing through the second.

and for what you're asking, you'd need something in between liam. setting up pfsense for a decent fire wall is recommended anyways, doesn't need much of a computer to run it.

I don't really have a spare computer to run that. Might be able to check what's laying around at work that's not asseted.

we moved around a lot but for some reason Mr Sylvester D. Cat never bothered buying the additional sets like he agreed
