I've just noticed that youtube are now broadcasting the majority of their music videos in HQ. Still not fantastic, but much better quality than they usually are. Good way of sampling music without downloading no?

I'll take a break from posting my usual electronica and make a few good suggestions here. Do the same. I waste loads of my afternoons on youtube now, so it's more than welcome.

I've been listening to this guy for over a month solid now - If you've ever saw a Peugeot advertised, chances are you've heard one of his songs.

Another favourite of mine that I was meant to see in Brixton, but had an exam the next day. Grim..

and oh well, a final Dutronc for good measure. That's right, J'aime Les Filles.

Post. Even you Shalimar, if you ever decide to come home. x

Classic Minneapolis New Wave from early 80's. Gotta love the Suburbs. Right up there with the Urban Guerillas.

Edit: This was filmed at First Avenue, same club where they filmed Purple Rain. So many memories of catching bands and smoking djarums there.

And wearing guyliner. I'm so glad not many pictures exist of those days anymore
