I need to get a mailbox...

...for the new house. Wife wants some sort of plastic one, but she gave me permission to put an R2-D2 modeled one in if I can find one. My first question is, anybody know where i could track something like that down? And since the ground is completely frozen, can anyone offer suggestions on how to mount the thing until the spring thaw? Bear corpses?

as far as mounting a new mailbox in the winter, stand it up in a pail/bucket and pour concrete in the bucket to get it to set. when you mount it in the spring, just put the entire bucket into the ground with some more cement

I would just make one out of an R2 D2 model, or if you feel creative make your own model from a garbage can.

i think mailboxes need to follow some USPS code or at least need to be approved by the postal service to act as a vessel for the federal mail service.

Sounds cool :D

But I think that would be against my neighborhood covenace.
dual SMGs and a few plasma grenades will take care of that for you.
