When you've got spare time and cash, what things do you like to get up to?

when i can swing it: cycling outside of my commute, playing the piano (jazz, either solo or with a group), shooting pool, vidjimagames, and puttering around the house

I like to knit, read a lot, bake, learn to cook new stuff. The knitting is actually more costly than it seems. Yarn can be pricey.

I've started to actually take advantage of the library. I was spending waaay too much on books.

I want to get back into biking. Think I might start looking for a new mountain bike.

Basically the only thing I used to do was play video games on my computer.. But lately I've been trying to find other things to become involved with.. I've recently setup a large fish tank aquarium and stocked a couple of Oscars in there. This doesn't take up as much time once everything is setup. I want to get a dog but I live in an apartment/condo.

Hmm, my spare cash seems to go to geeky stuff like computer crap, random carpentry projects and such. Also, I like to cook, so that leads to buying kitchen stuff.

I used to put most of my money into my computer.. I just became a never ending expense. Now I just upgrade parts once a year..
